The Business Administrator for our new branch of the coffee trade business will play a vital role in overseeing the export and sales operations. GOLDIVANTI GOLD LIMITED is a business that develops gold mines and represents the program “Start Your Own Gold Mine” in Uganda. We enter into partnerships with mining site and landowners, help them discover valuable gold and other minerals, and develop mining sites to the point of production. We are opening a new branch of business related to coffee trade.

As a Business Administrator for a new branch of the coffee trade business, specializing in coffee exports and sales, you will play a crucial role in managing and growing the operations. Your responsibilities will encompass a wide range of tasks to ensure the smooth functioning and success of the branch.

Key Job Responsibilities:
Obtaining Licenses: Research, apply for, and obtain the necessary licenses and permits required for coffee exports and sales, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and documentation.
Field Operations: Coordinate and conduct field visits, engaging with coffee farmers to establish and maintain strong relationships. Gather information on coffee quality, production, and farmer needs, providing guidance and support to improve coffee cultivation practices.
Accounting Management: Oversee and manage all accounting transactions related to the branch, ensuring accurate financial record-keeping, and adherence to budgetary constraints. Collaborate with the finance team to prepare financial reports and forecasts.
Document Writing: Prepare and review various business documents, including contracts, agreements, reports, and proposals. Ensure that proper documentation is maintained and updated regularly.
Networking and Contract Negotiation: Build and maintain a comprehensive network of contacts within the coffee industry, including suppliers, buyers, and stakeholders. Negotiate favorable contracts and terms to facilitate coffee sales and exports.
Farmer Support: Develop and implement initiatives to provide benefits and support to coffee farmers, such as training programs, fair pricing mechanisms, sustainable farming practices, and social responsibility projects.
Coffee Export Management: Ensure smooth logistics and compliance with regulations for coffee exports, including packaging, transportation, customs procedures, and quality control.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Strong knowledge of the coffee industry, including production processes, quality standards, and international trade regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for engaging with coffee farmers, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
- Proficiency in financial management and accounting principles.
- Ability to negotiate contracts and agreements effectively.
